HB1952 by Thompson, Senfronia (Relating to professional development training for certain public school personnel regarding student disciplinary procedures.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require each principal or other appropriate administrator who oversees student discipline to attend professional development training at least once every three years relating to student disciplinary procedures.

The required professional development training could be provided in coordination with regional education service centers (RESCs) through the use of distance learning methods.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated. School districts could experience costs associated with the provision of additional professional development.
