No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code to limit the liability of certain individuals granting gated community access to process servers, constables, or sheriffs for delivery of process. The Office of Court Administration does not anticipate any significant fiscal impact to the court system resulting from the bill. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.
