No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to authorize the commissioners court of a county with a population of more than 750,000 to regulate vendor sales of food or merchandise in the unincorporated area of the county with a speed limit of 40 miles per hour or faster. Under current statute, the population is more than 1.3 million. The commissioners court of a county with a population of less than 3.3 million could not prohibit the sale of livestock as defined by the provisions.
