No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code to authorize a municipality to acquire, purchase, construct, or maintain any property, including channels or bodies of water known as resacas, with respect to a utility system; a park; or a swimming pool. The board of trustees having management and control of a utility system would be authorized to impose and collect charges for services provided by a utility system.
