No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would prevent a municipality from adopting an ordinance that would prohibit a church from providing overnight shelter for a child. A municipality would be permitted to adopt and enforce an ordinance establishing limits on the number of nights a child may use the shelter or the number of children that can be housed per night.
