No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code as it relates to the recovery of assessed costs and fees in a nuisance abatement suit. It is not anticipated that the bill will result in any significant fiscal impact on the court system. The changes in law would apply only to costs or assessments for which notice was given on or after the bill's effective date. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
