IN RE:	HB2466 by Farias (Relating to the issuance of specialty license plates for Vietnam veterans.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to require the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to issue specialty license plates for certain veterans of the United States armed forces including specialty plates that include the Vietnam Service Medal image and specialty plates that include the National Defense Service Medal image.

 

Based on the information provided by the DMV, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
