IN RE: | HB2483 by Alvarado (Relating to including oral health education as part of the coordinated health program for public elementary, middle, and junior high school students.), As Engrossed |
The bill would require that the coordinated health programs made available to school districts by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) address oral health and oral disease prevention.
The TEA would need to ensure that the coordinated health programs that the agency selected to make available for districts addressed oral health. Based on the analysis of TEA, costs to implement the provisions of the bill are not anticipated to be significant.
