No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 16 of the Alcoholic Beverage Code relating to winery permit holders' production and bottling requirements. A winery permit holder that fails to comply with the specified requirements could have the permit cancelled, suspended, or an application for a renewal permit denied. It is assumed that implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the existing resources of the agency. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2013.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
