IN RE:
HB2542 by Gutierrez (Relating to a study comparing the effects on school district consolidation for Bexar County.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to conduct a study to determine whether there is a cost benefit or efficiency to consolidating school districts in Bexar County into either one single district or into five school districts. Based on the analysis of TEA, the required study could be accomplished with existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
