No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the periodic review and revision of college readiness standards and recommend revisions for approval by the Commissioner of Education and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB).

Based on the analysis of the Texas Education Agency and THECB, costs to implement the provisions of the bill are not anticipated to be significant.
