No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Education Code to allow for certain open-enrollment charter school graduates to be considered a graduate for accountability purposes. Based on the analysis of the Texas Education Agency, the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provision of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. This bill would take effect immediately if passed with the necessary voting margins, or September 1, 2013.
