No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the regulation of water wells under the jurisdiction of the Texas Commission of Licensing and Regulation to prevent groundwater pollution.

Based on information provided by Department of Licensing and Regulation and the Railroad Commission, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
