No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to require the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) to provide TDCJ inmates with certain information regarding reentry and reintegration resources. TDCJ has determined that the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the State. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
