No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Section 222.108 of the Transportation Code to include port projects among the types of transportation projects for which a county or municipality may create a transportation reinvestment zone.

Local Government Impact

The Texas Municipal League reported no significant fiscal impact to cities is anticipated.
 
The Texas Association of Counties reported no fiscal impact to counties is anticipated.
