No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Texas Veterans Commission, the Texas Workforce Commission, and the Texas Education Agency to jointly study the feasibility of establishing an interagency program to connect veterans seeking employment in school security positions with independent school districts seeking to employ security personnel.

Based on information provided by the Texas Veterans Commission, the Texas Workforce Commission, and the Texas Education Agency, it is assumed that any costs related to implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
