No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Labor Code and Tax Code relating to the regulation of professional employer services.

Based on information provided by Department of Licensing and Regulation, Office of the Attorney General, Department of Insurance, and Texas Workforce Commission, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
