HB2776 by Rodriguez, Justin (Relating to standing for certain individuals to file a suit affecting the parent-child relationship.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Family Code to expand the list of individuals permitted to file a suit affecting the parent-child relationship.

The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house. Otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2013.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
