No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Estates Code to specify procedures relating to lien enforcement of certain decedents' real property interests. The Office of Court Administration does not anticipate any significant fiscal impact to the court system resulting from the bill. The change in law would apply only to the estate of a decedent that dies on or after the bill's effective date. The bill would take effect January 1, 2014.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
