No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend provisions related to the Legislative Budget Board's report of equalized funding elements in the Foundation School Program to limit the scope of the report only to funding elements described in the Education Code. Assuming that the methodologies currently used for purposes of the analysis contained in the report continue to meet the statutory intent of the report, no significant fiscal impact is anticipated. This estimate further assumes that the LBB would utilize existing resources and complete the analysis in-house.
