No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code as it relates to procedural matters in certain health care liability claims. The Office of Court Administration does not anticipate any significant fiscal impact to the court system resulting from the bill. The change in law would apply only to actions commenced after the bill's effective date. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
