The bill would add a new chapter to the Civil Practice and Remedies Code specifying procedures for taking claims resulting from the enforcement of health and safety laws. The Office of Court Administration does not anticipate any significant fiscal impact to the court system resulting from the bill. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.
