No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure as it relates to information or evidence in criminal prosecutions. It is not anticipated that the bill will result in a significant fiscal impact to the court system. The change in law would apply to a criminal proceeding that commences on or after the bill's effective date. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
