The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure relating to the rights of certain defendants who successfully complete a term of community supervision.
Based on information provided by Department of Licensing and Regulation, State Office of Administrative Hearings, Department of Public Safety, Health and Human Services Commission, State Health Services, and the Department of Aging and Disability Services, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
