No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Finance Code to provide that certain information included by a credit service organization on an application to obtain a license is subject to the Public Information Act. The Office of the Attorney General indicates that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
 
The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house. Otherwise, the bill would take September 1, 2013.
