No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Election Code to require the Secretary of State (SOS) to pay funds requested by a political party involved in a primary election to the county in which the primary elections were held.
SOS indicated that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources.
