No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would include purchasing functions within the scope of enterprise resource planning and would authorize the Comptroller of Public Accounts (Comptroller) to recover costs from vendors which use the Comptroller's purchasing system under section 2155.061, Government Code for the use of the uniform statewide accounting project. It is anticipated that any additional costs to implement the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
