No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to remove language dealing with law enforcement access to wire communications and electronic communications information that is in electronic storage. The bill would require a provider of electronic communications service to disclose the contents of wire communications and electronic communications information to a peace officer who has a warrant.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
