No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code to authorize the Texas Historical Commission to assist the Hispanic Heritage Center in establishing a facility to educate the public regarding contributions of Hispanic persons. It is assumed that the Historical Commission would utilize current staff and funding to assist the Hispanic Heritage Center; however, it is anticipated that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
