LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD
Austin, Texas

FISCAL NOTE, 83RD LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION

April 22, 2013

TO:
Honorable Wayne Smith, Chair, House Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures

FROM:
Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
HB3284 by Davis, Yvonne (Relating to the certification of certain chief appraisers as registered Texas assessors; imposing a fee.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the certification of certain chief appraisers as registered Texas assessors; imposing a fee.

Based on information provided by the Department of Licensing and Regulation, it is assumed that a revenue gain would be realized with the implementation of the bill; however, it is also assumed that the amount of revenue gain from the amount of fees each year would be insignificant.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
