No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code relating to the recusal, disqualification, and assignment of judges. The change in law would apply only to motions for recusal or disqualification filed on or after the bill's effective date. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013. The Office of Court Administration does not anticipate any significant fiscal impact to the court system resulting from the bill.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
