HB3676 by Phillips (Relating to the operation of a vehicle by a person under 18 years of age.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to require hardship license holders to adhere to the same driving restrictions as those currently applied to drivers under 18 years of age. It is assumed the cost of implementing this provision could be absorbed within current appropriations. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
