No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Chapter 775 of the Health and Safety Code to provide that certain emergency services district (ESD) may submit compiled financial statements with a signed affidavit to the commissioners court of each county in which any part of the ESD is located instead of filing an audit report. The county auditor would be required to adopt rules relating to the financial report and affidavit to be approved by the county commissioners.

No significant fiscal impact is anticipated. The Travis County ESD #6 indicated no fiscal impact is anticipated.
