No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Chapter 775 of the Health and Safety Code to establish requirements for disbursement of an emergency services district's (ESD) funds. The bill would require any property purchased or leased using ESD funds, wholly or partly, must remain the property of the ESD regardless of whether the property is used by a third party under a contract for services, or until the property is sold or disposed of as defined by the provisions of the bill.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal impact is anticipated. The Travis County ESD #6 indicated no fiscal impact is anticipated.
