HB3815 by Carter (Relating to the suspension of a person's driver's license or permit on conviction of a fifth offense relating to the operating of a motor vehicle while intoxicated.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Penal Code, Code of Criminal Procedure, and Transportation Code to suspend a person's driver's license for 10 years or deny the issuance of a driver's license for 10 years if the person has previously been convicted four or more times of certain intoxication offenses. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013. No significant fiscal impact to the state is anticipated.
