No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to the list of approved doctors for the workers' compensation system. Based on information provided by the Texas Department of Insurance and the State Office of Risk Management, it is assumed that all duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished utilizing existing resources.
