No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, other than the cost of publication.

The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $108,921.


The resolution would require the legislature to convene on the first Tuesday following the 60th day after the date of final adjournment of a regular session to consider the repeal of laws passed during the regular session or subsequent special session.  The session could last no longer than three consecutive days.

Members of the legislature would be paid their per diem for the three day session, but this amount is not anticipated to be significant.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
