IN RE:	SB129 by Nelson (Relating to proper venue for filing an application for a protective order against family violence.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Family Code to authorize a person to file an application for a protective order against family violence in any county in which the family violence is alleged to have occurred.
 
According to the Office of Court Administration, no significant fiscal impact is anticipated.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
