No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Insurance Code relating to the amount of outstanding total liability of a mortgage guaranty insurer by repealing Section 3502.158 of the Insurance Code.  Based on the analysis by the Texas Department of Insurance, it is assumed that the duties and responsibilities associated with the implementation of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
