No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code to prescribe jurat language in an unsworn declaration for employees of a state agency or political subdivision. The Office of Attorney General (OAG), the Office of Court Adminstration (OCA), the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ), and the Secretary of State (SOS) indicate they could absorb the cost associated with the bill within their current resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
