SB256 by Deuell (Relating to tracking career information for graduates of Texas medical schools.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Higher Education Coordinating Board to establish a system to acquire and maintain data regarding the initial medical career choices made by graduates of medical schools in Texas no later than January 1, 2014.  Based on information submitted by the Higher Education Coordinating Board, the provisions of the bill could be implemented within existing resources. 

This legislation would take effect September 1, 2013.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
