No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to grant limited state law enforcement authority to police officers with the Office of Security and Law Enforcement of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. It is assumed there is no fiscal implication to the state. 

The bill would take effect immediately upon a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each chamber; if not, the bill would take effect September 1, 2013.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
