SB336 by Rodríguez (Relating to the qualifications for appointment as a medical examiner.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill changes the qualifications for a medical examiner appointed by a commissioners court to allow a person who is licensed and in good standing in another state and is seeking licensure in Texas to serve as medical examiner.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.
