SB369 by Whitmire (Relating to certain information available to the public on a central database containing information about sex offenders.), As Introduced
The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to exclude any information related to an employer’s name, employer’s address, and employer’s telephone number from the information published on the public sex offender registry. It is anticipated that any additional costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the existing resources of the Department of Public Safety.
