The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the recording of an informal settlement conference to resolve a complaint to the Texas Medical Board against a physician.

Based on information provided by the Texas Medical Board, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
