No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to the misuse of the name or symbols of the division of workers’ compensation of the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) in a deceptive manner.  Based on information provided by the TDI and the Office of the Attorney General, it is assumed that the duties and responsibilities associated with the implementation of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
