No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to the establishment of the Texas Fast Start Program to promote rapid delivery of workforce education and development. 

Based on the information provided by the Texas Workforce Commission, the Higher Education Coordinating Board and the University of Texas System Administration, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
