No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 605 of the Occupations Code, by adding an exemption from the licensing requirement for certain persons who meaure or fit orthoses under the supervision of a physician.

The Department of State Health Services indicates that there would be no costs associated with implementing the bill.

The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house; otherwise the bill would take effect September 1, 2013.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
