No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to the period during which an employee may file a claim for unpaid wages with the Texas Workforce Commission. 

Based on information provided by the Texas Workforce Commission, it is assumed that costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be covered within existing resources.
