No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Family Code to make certain procedural and evidentiary changes to suits affecting the parent-child relationship. The Department of Family and Protective Services reports that the bill will not have a fiscal impact on the agency. The Office of Court Administration indicates that the bill is not anticipated to have a significant fiscal impact to the court system.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
